 2024 Pride of mill creek marching band Registration

Registration Timeline (all wind players, percussionists, and color guard members)
- The 2023 band handbook and google registration form are coming soon!
- Registration for POMC is March 27th - May 5th

2023-2024 Band class registration

Current MCHS Band Students
​- Class placement info will be available for through Google Classroom before Winter Break.
-Class placement auditions will take place during band class the first week we return to school for second semester.

Current OMS 8th Grade Band Students
- Students will still have the opportunity to add band to their class schedule during the "drop/add" period
- "Drop/add" is open April 14 - May 26 in StudentVue
- Students must be in a band class in order to participate as a musician in marching band
Wind Players (Brass and Woodwinds)
- All woodwind and brass students must be enrolled in a band class in order to participate marching band - no audition required!
Spring Training
Thursday, 5/18 -- 5:00pm-8:00pm
Color Guard(All), Wind Players (Brass and Woodwinds) - New Members, Leadership

Friday, 5/19 -- 5:00pm-8:00pm
Color Guard(All), Wind Players (Brass and Woodwinds) - ALL members

Saturday, 5/20 -- 9:00am-2:00pm

11:00am – Spring Kick-Off Celebration!
Color Guard and Spirit Guard
- Competition Color Guard (rising 9th-12th graders at MCHS) and Spirit Guard (rising 6th-8th graders at OMS) are open to all students the Mill Creek Cluster
- A dance background is beneficial, but not required to audition for the Color Guard or Spirit Guard
- Auditions will be held in the MCHS Commons
- All Color Guard students (both competition and spirit) need to complete the 2023 Pride of Mill Creek Registration process in addition to coming to auditions at the end of April - see above for more information!

POMC Percussion - Drumline and Front Ensemble
- All percussion students must be enrolled in a band class in order to participate marching band
- Students are required to attend clinics and auditions in order to earn a position on the drumline or front ensemble
- Clinics and Auditions will be held in MCHS Band Room
- All percussion students need to complete the 2023 Pride of Mill Creek Registration process in addition to coming to clinics/auditions - see above for more information!

Physicals
- Mill Creek High School requires all marching band students to have a current physical on file through RankOne
- Follow the link below for information on how to create an account and upload a current physical
- A physical stays current for 1 year, so please check when your student's expires and plan accordingly
