What’s Included in the Trip Cost
To help families understand the full value of the experience, here is what the London trip package covers:
Air Travel

• Round-trip flights booked by Youth Music/Performance Travel Limited (PTL)
• Checked baggage + carry-on allowance
• Preferred carriers include British Airways, Delta, American, Virgin Atlantic, and United
• Direct flights whenever possible

Hotels

• Superior first-class hotel accommodations
• Two travelers per room
• No parent–child rooming (students room together; chaperones room separately)
• Secure instrument storage, WiFi, meeting/rehearsal spaces, and standard amenities included

Meals

• Daily breakfast and dinners
• “Dine Around” prepaid card for meals on select days
• Special snacks/water provided on parade day

Tours & Sightseeing
​Each traveler will participate in four of these experiences:

• London Panoramic Tour
• Tower of London
• Windsor
• Hampton Court or Oxford (final selections to be determined)

New Year’s Eve Event

• Private, supervised student-friendly celebration
• DJ, glow items, party favors, pizza, and sodas

Instrument Shipping

• All instruments shipped securely to the UK

Insurance 
Comprehensive travel insurance including:

• Trip cancellation (covered reasons)
• Medical & emergency
• Baggage & delayed baggage
• Instrument coverage

PAYMENT PROCESSING OPTIONS

The MCBB will maintain a separate trip-specific bank account to keep funds independent of general booster finances.
We are confirming the best method for collecting payments. At this time:

• AffiniPay online “Make a Payment” portal on the POMC website. Make sure you list your student's full name and LDNY Payment

Families may apply existing credits to trip payments until Summer 2026.  Once 2026–2027 POMC dues are added after Spring Training, credits must be applied to those first. You must email the Treasurer, Brandy Suber, at [email protected] and request your credit balance and/or request to use credits in your student’s account towards any month’s required payment. Again, the first payment, whether through cash, check, credit card, or credit, is non-refundable. 


Payments to the London travel company will be sent collectively by the Booster organization via secure bank wire transfer.
